Polyboost can be majorly used in Container Candles, Mottled Pillar Candles, Votives and other moulded Candles.
1) PB 130 = Vybar 260
2) PB 165 = Vybar 103
3) PB 150 = Vybar 343
PB 130 is for container candles as its lower melting temperature is more similar to container candle waxes.
PB 150 is designed to work in mottled pillar candles. The add rate is generally speaking form 1% – 3% by weight. There is an optimal add rate, but it must be derived through experimentation. Too much and the mottling effect will be eliminated; too little and fragrance oil bleed will still be noticed.
The correct product would be the PB 165 at 0.25% – 0.75% for a pillar formulation. PB 165 is used for votives, pillars, and other moulded candle types.
Hence, the usage would be similar to Vybar and varies by the client’s formulation, kindly note.
